I love Saturday mornings. This is the day where Daddy and Mabel have set aside time to play, read books, cuddle, watch videos or whatever. It’s the time of the week where I feel like I get to catch up on what I miss with her every other day. This video is a conversation between Mabel and Daddy a few days after Mabel rode the bus for the first time in San Francisco. I was particularly intrigued/concerned about the upside down baby (Mabel calls Lego people babies).

We have been working hard to have Family Home Evening every Sunday afternoon with Mabel. The key to success, we have discovered, is to always have a treat! This video captures a typical conversation between Mama and Mabel, and more importantly, the strong bond between them. I love watching them chat, so I figured I’d capture it on video for future reference.

** I didn’t edit it down at all, so it gets pretty long.
