Wherever I go, there are the few repeated comments (eyes, looks like a doll, so tiny, and “such a happy baby!”). Here are a few photos of the faces that Mabel makes, that drive people to comment on what a happy baby she is. Mama’s thoughts: yes, she’s a VERY happy baby. But, in reality, she’s a VERY well-rested baby. I know that has made all the difference. Normally, she’d be gripping Sophie. But, we were on a walk (while someone was viewing our home) and I only have Max in the diaper bag.
All these photos are the smiles from somebody whistling—her current favorite!

Oh, how blessed we are!! I had a prompting to retrieve my video camera and set it up…so glad I listened!!!! I got Mabel laughing and squealing on camera, then learning that she could pull herself around! She’s laughed before, but this is the first time she actually pulled herself anywhere. What a blessing!!

I’ve noticed a few times Mabel has woken up from her nap crying, which usually means that she is still tired and wants to be rocked back to sleep (usually just two minutes or so). However, for the last few days, the other parts that keep the “usually” from “always” have been a wet diaper! Yep, if she’s wet, she lets me know!!
I hope this means easy potty learning… 😉
