Daddy took off for San Francisco today for a job interview, leaving Mama and Mabel to hang out. But, Mama turned around and invited Grandma to come keep her company in Daddy’s absence, so Mama wouldn’t be too lonely. Grandma came and just adores little Mabelita. It’s been fun for me [Mama] to see them interact, as it shows me how it must have been when I was a baby, and Grandma was “the mama.” Here are a few photos and videos to show how much fun we are having. Of course, we miss Daddy terribly!

Oh, how Mabel loves being with her daddy!! Only her daddy can make her laugh quite like this. It is very special to watch. Daddy enjoys making up songs and tickling her. Mabel just ADORES her daddy.

While making the bed, Mabel was keeping me company. She has learned to grab things and likes to cover her face. She kept playing hide-and-go-seek by herself. Heh.

Mabel did this awesome string of laughs…her first time ever!! I had to run to the get the camera, by which time, of course, she faltered. I did manage to get one little giggle on camera, though. Fun times with Daddy in the bathtub. 🙂
